Sectoral Guidelines on Environmental Permits and Licensing Practices

Sectoral Practice Guide series; It was prepared within the scope of the "Improvement of Environmental Permit and License Application Project" completed in 2020 under the coordination of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

In order to provide unity in the practice of determining the scope of the facility carried out by the central and provincial governance of the Ministry, environmental consultancy firms, environmental officers and sector representatives; Environmental Permit and License Regulation Annex-1 and Annex-2 lists have been revised and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette,and these guidelines have been prepared for all sector headings in the aforementioned lists.

This guide contains the definition, terminology, threshold/limit value explanations, brief information about business processes, and information notes on the scope and environmental effects of each additional article, of the relevant sector sub-items specified in the Annex 1 and Annex 2 lists of the Regulation.
