Monitoring of Waste Activities Mass Balance Declaratives

The Ministry is informed about the activities to be implemented on minimizing the waste at its source, classifying, collecting, transporting, temporary storage, recycling, purification, conversion into energy and disposal, starting from the planning stage until the final disposal of waste.

Mass balance information; It is used to monitor and inspect the activities implemented by waste treatment facilities holding Temporary Activity Certificate /Environmental Permit and License Certificate and to create waste management strategies by creating a healthy waste inventory.

Based on the Mass Balance Declarative Circular published by the Ministry of Environment and  Urbanization on 03.03.2022, it is obligatory to complete and approve the mass balance declarations for the past months, starting from the effective date of the circular, until 29 July 2022
