We, the Bilgi Çevre Team, support the Zero Waste Project, which it set out with the slogan of preventing waste, using resources more efficiently, reducing the amount of waste and recycling waste, leaving a clean world for tomorrow.
We act as a bridge between the enterprises and the Ministry in fulfilling their obligations in all enterprises within this scope, and most importantly, in the processes of harmonization with the legislation brought in order to leave a more livable environment for future generations.
So What Is Zero Waste?
“Zero Waste”; As mentioned in the slogan, it is a target defined as a waste management philosophy that includes preventing waste, using resources more efficiently, preventing or minimizing waste generation by reviewing the causes of waste generation, and collecting waste separately at its source and ensuring its recovery.
The disposal of wastes without being evaluated in the recycling and recovery process causes serious resource losses in terms of both material and energy. While the population and living standards in the world increase, there is an inevitable increase in consumption and this situation increases the pressure on our natural resources and disrupts the balance of the world, and our limited resources cannot keep up with the increasing needs. Considering this situation, the importance of efficient use of natural resources becomes even more evident. For this reason, in recent years, zero waste implementation studies have become widespread all over the world, both individually, institutionally and throughout the municipalities.
